After seeing multiple groups losing their shit for a various people racing ahead in DPS on one part of the boss, please chill. It DOESN'T matter. Even after 1 part of the boss is dead, you have 3 minutes to kill the remaining part before enrage and even then if you reach enrage, you can Lost Death the Colossus which spawns.
Please stop spreading misinformation that both parts have to die at the same time. Only circumstance you would want them to die at the same time is if one group is really abysmally lacking in DPS which at that point it doesn't matter since the drill might already be destroyed at some point.
