I'm not exactly super experienced with Treasure Hunting, so I don't know how difficult they are, but upon attempting to enter the portal as a Blue Mage I was able to enter without an issue, and even managed to solo the first room (second room destroyed me though). Everything inside seemed to fully resist instant death effects and deep freeze.
So if you're still needing achievements or run it for loot or whatnot, bringing BLUs inside may be an option to keep in mind?
