I forgot that I have a 24-hour shift starting at 6AM Tuesday and ending 8AM Wednesday. I may try switching it for another day, but if that's not possible, what's the rule for having someone log in a person to help with the fight and/or to lot?
 
it been decided as long as nekio is there (meaning him playing the char or someone else), then he can lot. if any member has a problem with this ruling, please pm me before tommorrow night.

Will this be a permanent rule for others who put in the runs for attendance but happen to have stuff keeping them from making the boss fight? I don't want to get special treatment... though I do believe that the effort is in the farming runs, not in the Proto fights.

I look at it like DX, if the character is there, they can lot based on their points. We have brothers, girlfriends or just other players taking characters through dynamis all the time.
 
I'm 100% on board with that line of thinking... I wouldn't wish anyone to have their hard work over weeks invalidated because of an inconvenient boss schedule. They earned lotting rights before they set foot in front of Omega/Ultima.
 
i look at it like this, this should not happen often or to excess. this is something that will be taken on a case to case evaluation.

i am with arafea it should be used in cases as such of yours nekio something out of your control came up not just "well i'll be on a date please log me in" as that was something you planned and was in your control.

*Character(A) logged in by another(B) doesn't get points for DX run. If they(A+B) tell us in advance, the driver(B) of the logged in character(A) gets the points for their own character(B). Clear? lmao. :confused:

**please excuse the jumping into negatron. Just wanted to be clear what DX does with points, in case it helps you guys out.
 
Eticket was likening it more to lotting than receiving points i believe. Aka they don't say they are filling in, lot the AF said friend tells them they want and then that person won the af even though they weren't there.

Just as DX goes any my experiance with it. I asked Garret one time if yelsaewnor could log on as me and lot blm or thf if it dropped in xarc and he said no. That wouldn't be fair to the people acctully doing the work. But that is DX and not negatron. Seems fair to me if you have "lotting rights"

Right exactly what I was saying. Was just adding in the attendance bit as something to consider. Afterall, the person logging in would be attending on their regular character, but are helping out a friend and your LS by coming. Food for thought, not judging the way you guys do things. Especially considering that i've not even read your rules! lol
