Problems with IE7.

I've been experiencing some problems with IE7 this past week. Some pages that I visit, IE will display a string of Bs about 10-20 of them on the top left of the page window(Not the title bar where the title of the page is displayed). Sometimes it will display the string of Bs followed by junk symbols or ASCII codes. This happens randomly to any page that I visit.

Here are a few things that I did to try and fix the issue.

  • I've used numerous virus scanners such as Avast, AVG, Norton and McAfee. Tried different online AVs too including Kaspersky, PC-Cillin and Panda.
  • I've tried different spyware/trojan scanners including Spybot, CWShredder, Lavasoft etc. but to no avail. At most all they've given me is that I have some tracking cookies since I have cookies enabled for some pages.
  • I've tried the two above methods while in safe-mode.
  • I've scanned the other computers in the network using the three above methods but still no luck.
  • I've uninstalled IE7 and reverted back to IE6 but still, the same issue occurs.
  • I've installed FireFox to my dismay. It was fine for a few days but now FF also displays the same string of Bs which led me to believe that it really is something in my system that has been eluding me.

Any advice is appreciated!

If you can post the build number of your IE7, that would help as well.

I think this may be something other than just the IE, but maybe the Explorer Shell itself.

Any other recent changes to drivers or other important devices?

Thanks,
Aa

As far as the build version/product version of the IE7 that I have it's (7.00.5730.11) and the product version of Mozilla FF is 1.8.1.6. I haven't changed anything to my system, only thing that I do on this computer that I play FFXI on is seed & download JDrama, CDrama or TDramas.

The screenshots are below.

I had to use FireFox to just view Photobucket.com because IE7 keeps giving me an error that the page cannot be displayed.

Interesting... I've cut-n-pasted to a couple of people I work with.

As I recall Alu, about 2 years ago you had a similar problem with the video goofing up.

Is this same machine or different one?

I will see what we come up with...

I don't see the pics you posted mate :\

Stop looking at porn you perverted old man...Problem solved.

Someone went out of their way to design and distribute a virus that sticks 20 B's into the top of HTML code?
