Comfortable, fuss-free adventuring for all players is one of our biggest priorities. That is why for the next version update, we will be introducing some changes intended to make Vana'dielian living that much more convenient. For this Topics, we will take a look at changes to synthesis, armor storage, and furnishings.

Synthesis
Our fans often describe HQ item synthesis as a fulfilling yet occasionally frustrating process. Taking such voices to heart, following lengthy deliberation, the developers have decided to add new synthesis enhancement items as the reward for guild contract quests. While these items do not allow the creation of HQ items at free will, you will receive an overall success rate bonus for synthesis.

The positive effects of these items are expected to span beyond merely improving your success rate in synthesis. The raising of synthesis skills should become that much more enjoyable an experience, and certain items should become more affordable than before.

These synthesis enhancement items are a must-have for masters and apprentices alike!

Armor Storage
The release of the Wings of the Goddess expansion saw the addition of several new sets of armor. To accommodate this increase, the following armor sets will become storable by talking to specific NPCs:

Pahluwan / Yigit / Amir

Furnishings
Since it became possible to invite friends over to your Mog House, we've been seeing more and more adventurers taking an active interest in their furnishings in a friendly contest of affluence with neighbors. Amidst this recent trend, it has come to our attention that the function of some furnishings was not proportional to cost, resulting in them being largely ignored by players.

To rectify this issue, and ultimately improve the living standard for adventurers, a number of furnishings will receive adjustments to attributes such as storage capacity and effects. Detailed information on these changes will be announced upon the release of the next version update.

Apparently the synthesis section is pretty poorly worded on the English bulletin. The new items take away a chance at HQ in order to increase NQ success. That could turn out to be pretty useful.

But...but...I LOVE synthing merman's hairpins and losing money on HQ's!

Or to ash, Peace Cape+1 Do you need it?

nice but.. when are we gonna be able to store A.Abj, D.Abj & the like? SE fails!

i just want 6 mog safes.. one for each job, and that would be most awesome thing evar.

I'm dreading the day when I need to store armor sets to make ends meet. It looks expensive and fkin annoying when you change jobs a lot.

I like it already =o

I actually don't use the armor storage system much, just to store AF for jobs AF I don't use (brd and war come to mind).. for nin i basically threw away everything except AF boots because I don't use any of it.. except boots (can you deny +25% movement speed at night??)

I also keep either RDM or PLD AF on hand/in storage depending on which I'm using most lately.. RDM right now.

I have a strange system that basically requires no mules, throw stuff you hardly/if ever use in storage, and everything else in mog safe/locker. very disorganized and I don't know where anything is but I prefer it to muling, lol.

I move armor in and out of the armor storage NPC very little, but it's been very useful for keeping stuff around I need only rarely. I get called on for smn so rarely, have better pieces than whm and brd AF1, and am not using pup, so it's a great place to toss those and just let them sit. They're there the few times I need them, and they're out of my inventory the rest. Stuff I use all the time like whm and brd af2, I don't bother putting in storage.

So yeah, I'm glad they're expanding that storage. Maybe now I'll finish getting paluwahn gear for pup since I don't have to worry about it taking up space.

As for the crafting stuff... if the retranslation is right, I'm pretty disappointed. Are crafters really hurting for something to give fewer breaks? I'm more worried about my 0/30+ on HQs I should be 1/10 on. >_< I don't envision the gil spent on the new gp items giving me much return on the investment; at best it'll be a sunk cost just so I stay competitive with other crafters who will get it. ;_;
