so i went flying around Shadowbringers to look for any suspicious places that look good for entrances to content in future patches. here's what I found:
Nuvy's Leavings - Amh Arang (Image)
In the western half of Amh Arang is some mines, which we entered during the MSQ for the whole turning the Talos back on shenanigans. Deep in these mines is a cave entrance which obviously goes deeper into the caverns, blocked off with some flimsy wooden barricades (and of course an invisible wall). This one seems the most likely to me, what with the obvious entrance and the lack of monsters surrounding it.
The Pristine Palace of Amh Malik - Amh Arang (Image)
Last time we were here is when Ryne had her heart to heart with her older sister/mom/herself/pray return to the waking sands head ghost. This is where Minfilia held back the Flood of Light with the Warriors of Darkness, and there's still quite a few ruins in here, with a big ol' nice door just waiting to be entered. This could be some nice ruins for a dungeon, or dare I say, a Deep Dungeon~
Laxan Loft - Lakeland (Image)
What.... even is this place? There's just this random castle in the middle of Lakeland full of mad elves, and we dont really know what its for? We came here during the MSQ to fight, hell I forget his name, punchy wannabe Zenos (please dont kill me). Anyway there's gotta be something in here, it's literally just sitting there in the middle of the map.
Mjrl's Regret - The Rak'tika Greatwood (Image)
A nifty little slope and waterfall down into the deep jungles of Rak'tika south of Fanow. I'm imagining some dark, creepy, suffocating treelines, ancient trees, that sort of deal. At least an ACTUAL jungle dungeon instead of The Qitana Ravel. That dungeon was literally Legends of the Hidden Temple. There's even some silver monkeys in there. Not even joking.
Whisperwind Cove - Kholusia (Image)
There's just this random door on this cove in the southwest corner of Kholusia. To me, random unused doors mean dungeons and trials, absolutely. Then again I have no idea what they'd even make us go in here for... maybe its just Sastasha (Harder)?
Lyhe Ghiah - Il Mheg (Image)
Ok come on just look at this place. Look at it. Look. Look again. It's gorgeous. I refuse to believe we only step foot in here and see one room to fight Titania. That's not a cramped old castle, its massive. Feo Ul needs to give her little sapling a tour of the place already. I guarantee you, there's gonna be something else in this castle.
Amaurot Depths - The Tempest (Image)
Okay, yes, now I'm just fangirling over nothing here. But bear with me for a second here. Shadowbringers needs a Deep Dungeon, right? What if we delved even deeper into the illusion of Amaurot that Emet Selch left behind in the Tempest? There's clearly a lot to explore, just look at that screenshot. The Ascians' leftover magic would explain away the weird leveling system. This image of Amaurot was made from the memories of Emet Selch, right? And he obviously had a lot of pent up grief and trauma, right? What if it gets more and more broken and messed up the deeper you go? Imagine the sorts of things and secrets you'd find at the core. Uh huh. Yep. Please Yoshi-P, I know you're reading this, please give Amaurot Deep Dungeon
That's all my ideas! If you have any other ideas or notable locations you've found in Norvrandt, or maybe even in older areas, do say so in the comments!
