As title suggest, recently just cleared EX 1 due to my hectic work schedule and i have to say im very impressed with the fight. Some context i guess? I'm a SHB raider puppy and have done most of the end game raids except DSR, i think this is one of them rare fights that i went, god damn that was a fun fight. Managed to clear with a pug party on the first lockout i probably got lucky w some clearers but yeah.
First things first, Mountain Fire, seriously one of the best tank busters ever to have graced this game. A tank buster that engages the entire party, perhaps able to teach newbie tanks to time and learn their mits well to minimally learn to plan it out and its kind of a tank swap without the voke and shirk, overall a really cool buster. IMO only other buster i can recall being cool was E6S edens furor, ifrits super kick.
I also really enjoy the subtle things like keeping a look out for which volcano was erupting, taking note of if u have to levitate or be on the ground for ice or lightning and even the icicles were an interesting twist of difficulty for newer raiders, learning positioning and timing. Can't wait to try the Everkeep EX soon hopefully when i find the time to game for a solid hour
I've also done the normal raids and found them to be pretty interesting and fun. IMO it was an ok level of difficulty although i do empathise with M2's heart vomit during the heart phase? haha. Let me know how you guys fared and share how you enjoyed this EX!
