I normally play the game on my TV and use 1920 x 1080 resolution and 150% UI scaling. The speech bubbles are too big and I can't adjust them by themselves.
My normal setup and a one-line speech bubble:
A two-line speech bubble (I had moved the boss healthbar a little lower this day):
I eventually figured out I can make the speech bubbles smaller by changing the UI resolution settings in system configuration (I set it to 100, and then adjusted my other UI configs to make everything else similar to how it was before), but this also changes many other parts of the UI that can't otherwise be adjusted by themselves, and then it hurts my eyes when I play the game. I don't want to change the size of the pause menu, or all the other on-screen text that otherwise can't be adjusted, because that will make my eyes hurt while playing. I only want to change the speech bubble size but I can't.
This has become more of a problem now because I really want to move the boss's healthbar a little lower so it's not as hard to see the frogs during Let's Dance, but I don't have much space to do so because of the speech bubble. (lower quality screenshot since it's from a screen recording, I didn't want to press the screenshot button while I was dodging the cleaves):
Please let us adjust the speech bubbles' position and size independently, and please consider letting us adjust more UI elements independently as well.
