If SE were feeling experimental, this was a golden opportunity to try something a bit like this:
Upon clearing floor 100 for the first time (and completing the epilogue quest that unlocks Quantum), reward us with a new experimental reward space. Or, more accurately, an old reward space that has been so unused for so long, it'd feel new. That being, a new Egi-Glamour. Or Pet Glamour, or whatever they're called now. The ability to turn Seraph (as SCH) into Feo Ul via text command
There would be no need to be concerned with 'oh what if a new player sees it and gets spoiled that the character exists', because it's a level 80 action, and you meet Feo Ul at level 71. Plus, if it's really a massive deal, there could be some clientside flag that checks if you have reached the quest where Feo Ul is introduced, and if not, your client is forced to render Seraph as Seraph, regardless of the SCH player's chosen option. I don't think that knowing that Feo Ul is a character in the game at some point is a problem though, and clearly neither does SE, because we now have the Feo Ul minion in game, which we can show off in the starting cities and 'spoil' all the new players with
There's also plenty of lore reasons as to why it'd make sense to be able to summon the King. We have a pact with them. They can travel to and from the Source thanks to said bond. Statice, the gun-toting Faerie of AloAlo, is specifically stated to be a SCH Faerie, but looks like a Pixie of the First. The transformation traps in Pilgrim's Traverse turn you into a Pixie model, but the tooltip says that you're turned into a 'Faerie'. So, I assume that SE sees SCH Faeries and Pixies as being kinda sorta the same thing (or at least very closely related), enough to use the terms interchangeably
This would also have given SE the opportunity to test out 'ability reskins' as a reward space, potentially opening the doors for more such rewards in the future. For example, how about a WHM reward where you reject the Light, and use Elemental Magics, reskinning actions back to being Earth, Wind and Water themed? A NIN that pays homage to Rikku from FFX, using Mixes instead of Ninjutsu? Maybe even something as simple as a BLM that inverts the Elemental Wheel, using Astral Blizzard and Umbral Fire?
Missed opportunity IMO, but oh well
