Steps:
1. be in a location where you can sit on furniture or /groundsit and access summoning bell (npc vendor doesn't do it)
2. sit down either with /sit on nearby furniture or /groundsit
3. while sitting, call up the primary retainer menu
4. exit menu and stand up
5. perma-sit is now activated. seems to be client-side only
Connection Specs
- Type of internet connection/provider: Spectrum cable
- Modem maker/model number:

will relay if needed; issue seems to happen irrespective of pc specs, reproduced on at least 2 other systems so far.
