Issue: My entire system often soft-locks when I try and start the game or load into the game while Youtube videos are playing. In the main menu and once the game loads this issue does not occur. The only solution is to restart the system with physical buttons on the case or remove power to the system. I can get around this issue by closing any video tabs, but it is extremely obnoxious.
Symptoms:
- The game freezes
- The video freezes but continues audio
- I can move the mouse and it changes shape depending what I hover over, but I cannot interact with anything
- Sometimes youtube videos on left monitor will freeze (while audio continues) for short periods while the game is active on the right
Troubleshooting:
- Key combinations (e.g. alt+f4, ctrl+alt+del) are non-responsive.
- Radeon driver 20.1.1 (current)
- Radeon driver 19.1.12 (older)
- Borderless fullscreen and fullscreeen
- Overclocking CPU and GPU
- Returning CPU and GPU to stock speeds
