In the scene following Anamnesis Anyder we're shown a recording of a meeting of ancient ones opposed to the Convocation of XIV's actions planning Hydaelyn's summoning. Leading them is an Amaurotine by the name of Venat.
For those of you who haven't played Final Fantasy XII, this is a fairly significant reference. In that game Venat served as a major antagonist. An ancient, immortal, godlike being known as an Occuria who rebelled against her own kind in a bid to allow the mortal races to control their own lives and history without interference from her kin.
As part of her attempt to free humanity from the ancients she threw her lot in with the Empire, sharing long-held Occurian secrets and knowledge with them as part of her rebellion. Specifically, Venat often shadowed and advised Vayne Solidor, a megalomaniacal Imperial prince who killed his father (the Emperor) and served as the game's primary antagonist.
Aside from being a fun reference, given how eerily close the similarities are I think there's a significant possibility that, much like she accompanied and advised Vayne in XII, the mysterious white-clad figure accompanying Zenos is likely a physical manifestation of Venat.
May seem a bit far-fetched to some, I suppose, but the similarities were such that I was pretty flabbergasted watching the scene.
