Hello All -- Thank you for any advice or help you can provide.
I am an older guy (50+) looking for a good long-term commitment game. I had tried to play WoW, but there are so many systems, daily requirements, etc., needed to keep up and be able to join groups for dungeons.
Is this ffxiv the same, or are there fewer "dailies" systems required? I would like to be able to roam the world and kill mobs and farm and be able to get the gear I need randomly that would allow me to be able to run dungeons and get accepted into groups. I would like to do this without having to grind pre-fabricated "dailies" systems.
I am curious if ffxiv is a little more suitable to what I'm looking for in a game? I know this might be a pretty common or boring question, but any helpful information you can provide me will be greatly appreciated.
