Maidy-san's FC 'Giovinezza' has made an announcement regarding the memorial for Maidy-san:

I'm not exactly fluent in Japanese but I wish to spread the message in any way I can. This is what I understand from the announcement with the help of DeepL's translation (anyone who has a better grasp of Japanese, please correct me if I get anything wrong).

Regarding the memorial for Maidy-san who passed away last December, Maidy-san's father asked them to hold one as a testament to Maidy-san's life, and to do it in a way that it would remain somewhere.
The members of 'Giovinezza' FC were not able to visit him because of the pandemic, and wish to create a memorial to remember Maidy-san as well. They decided to leave a message to Maidy-san in the form of a video on Youtube.
They had a hard time deciding, for if a memorial is held in FFXIV server, they did not want to cause inconvenience to other players. It's also hard to find a time that works and there's also the inability to travel between data center. They also wanted to make it possible for people who have met Maidy-san outside of FFXIV to take part. Thus, they decided to do it this way.
The video will be released tomorrow (today?), they are not gathering people to do anything in the game itself. They hope that each of us can watch the video and remember Maidy-san at a time of our convenience.
Messages from people that were contacted on a short notice were used. They apologize that they were not able to reach out to all parties, and would also like to thank everyone who helped with the message requests.
With the messages they received, they collected a lot of screenshots full of memories. They also have a message from Maidy-san's father at the end.
Please leave your thoughts in the comments of the video. They will compile them later and give them to Maidy-san's father.
