New Ultima/Omega lot rules

Beginning with the next Proto-Ultima, the lot privileges will be determined in a slightly different manner. To be eligible to lot on items from Proto-Ultima or Proto-Omega, a person must attend 50% or more of EACH of the past two cycles, both Ultima and Omega. For example, if a person attends every single Temenos run, but attends no Apollyons, he or she will not be able to lot on Proto-Ultima drops. Proto-Ultima and Proto-Omega runs will be counted in attendance. The next Proto-Omega will be run with current rules.

It's not very different from what we do now, it's just to encourage people to attend both cycles, which most people already do anyway.

Not like I am able to attend any at this time, but throwing question out. 50% each no matter what or 40% on one, 60% on another, 10% on one, 90% on another? How is this calculated? need 50% on each or need am amount that adds up to 100% overall? Might be easieir to do the 100% way, but i know that 0+100 add to 100 so might be same thing.

Don't see how this is gonna work honestly. If we do Apollyon in one night and you're required to have 50% attendance then you're 100% screwed if you can't get into the omega ally? Or is attendance giving to people AFK outside BC areas?

EDIT: Or how about what you said in the other thread about doing runs when someone isn't there to lead, does that count?

I don't think the 0+100 works cuz that kinda defeats the purpose of the rule I think...

If you are in Port Jeuno at the gather time, not afk, and ready to attend, but we are full, you get credit for attending Proto-Whatever.

In response to Pitlith, no, that is EXACTLY what I'm trying to prevent. People attending both cycles without prejudice is the aim here. This isn't going to affect very many people, as we've had strong attendance at everything lately.

I wont be able to attend limbus now...I like the rules, just I cant afford it. ^^; Don't have 200k to be throwing around.

Like I said, was just throwing out a question that I am sure would have come up. Doesn't matter to me either way, since it is early enough to be happenin while I am at work.

Yaeko just do what I do & see if anyone is interested in paying your attendance fee if they get to keep your coins.

There are enough people saving up coins for various items in the LS that are willing to do this, I haven't paid for any runs in quite a while.

I think the new rule is a good idea, but I think that if that is the case we should make an effort for some of the Apollyon Blitz runs to be on Tuesday, otherwise if people can't make Friday runs they will never be able to attend 50% of an Apollyon Cycle, as Shrikey mentioned above.

Since Temenos typically takes a few days to get through people should be able to show up to at least some of it.
