Hey all! To preface I’m only in stormblood and just unlocked sage. This is my first healer class. I’ve ran about 7-8 dungeons so far. I’ve watched 2 YouTube tutorial videos. Im starting to get comfortable but still a little confused. couple of questions below…
1.) dungeon trash pulls: should I ALWAYS have a shield up on the main tank? I’ve noticed with 4 or fewer enemies my Kardion does the trick. But not sure what’s the optimal approach here.
2.) emergency/panic: if shit hits the fan, resources are low, should I just spam the shield on main tank? Seems the best burst heal is shield, Pepsis, shield, doulche (whatever it’s called).
3.) raids: I feel awkward in 8 man raids with two tanks. Should my focus normally to protect main and let white/scholar handle raid wide healing? I guess my question here is what should I be focusing on?
