Rival wings has a bit of potential because it is team styled over Free-for-all. However I believe they could be better by just innovating on tried and proven battlegrounds from older games instead of creating something new.
1. Add a capture the flag mode.
2. Add an escort payload mode
The moba styled Rival wings modes aren't cutting it long term. They're are hard to understand for some players and require a lot of coordination. These new ideas for modes might be easier to hop into for quick and easy pvp fun.

1. Add a capture the flag mode.
- Capture flag in center of map, defend flag carrier to base, get points, repeat and win
- Potentially add new mechs into the mix and there could be a lot of potential fun to be had
2. Add an escort payload mode
- Teams take turns escorting a train to the destination for points
- Again Possibly add mechs and you might have another hit
