First of all, I know there are many Bozja related threads, but i'll just be discussing the 1v1s as that's the content I'm currently interesting within there.
For any who don't know 1v1s are spawned when a certain fate is completed, then the following Critical engagement is completed (without taking a vul stack) then you get entered into a raffle essentially for the chance to face a boss.
At the moment the biggest problem in regards to this 1v1s is actually getting into the fights to either clear or Prog, the biggest reasons I've personally noticed are :-
-Competing against other people trying to queue (Obviously) As time has went on, more people have become more conformable with the fights and therefore have more people queuing in.
-People accepting the challenge and either showing up then returning, or not even attempting the challenge even tho they've accepted
-People accepting the challenge without knowing any information despite the game telling you it's difficult including (i.e no manawall, dispels etc)
-Not having a enough people (alive) to actually clear red chocobo when it spawns / not enough people queuing into the skirmish
-Sart not even spawning in most instances due to it's spawn conditions
These are my examples, but feel free to share
a few negative points this brings:-
-At level 15 with a fair of gil, is there any point in doing most of the fates? Most of the CEs i visit, you're lucky if half the players even show if it's not vigil, red choco or sart fate chain, then if you do get it spawn and a random player enters with no prior knowledge and doing have the exact load out, they're bullied out out of the instance with comments like 'Stop queuing if you have no knowledge' and 'Stop
taking the chances away from people who actually want to clear' There is arguments to made on both sides of this
-Players who get hit mid fate with a Vul stack, just end up returning to base camp, since they're already 15 and only there for a chance of the CE
I personally think a lot of this could be solved with a independent spawning currency that's not clusters, A currently that can only be gotten by partaking in Fates / CE.
Lets say you want to spawn Lyon as an example, you go to map CEs and everything you do one, you have a chance to obtain a token, with a certain amount of these tokens you can actually spawn the CE directly, this way you're not taking some else's spot and you're in control of your own prog and not relying on RNG as a lot of players are practical learners and need to actually be in the fight to learn and not watching guides and kill vids.
I understand however 1v1s are like a reward in themselves, and are meant to be 'rare' and bring excitement, but for me, the excitement has vanished and it's mostly frustration and disappointment.
