To start with, I came from playing Monster Hunter World Iceborne and I found myself playing that most of the time solo and ultimately felt bored since I was the only one out of my friends who still plays it regularly. Now, I rarely play it for more than an hour or two and wanted to get into something else, something fresh.
When I saw some friends of mine playing Final Fantasy XIV and posting screenshots and information on it, I got curious and decided to try it out for myself and I immediately fell in love with it. The character creation is expansive, the storyline is amazing (taking down Ultima Weapon was so satisfying), and NPCs to the game are well put together (especially the guy who claimed to be part of the Company of Heroes, but likes to tell false stories for kicks lol).
I still enjoy the game and have been at it for a few weeks nonstop. Thank you to those who make the game more enjoyable and fulfilling for people like me.
