More Housing Release News - Midnight Pst Tonight

Hi reddit, Catstab again.

So they turned off auto demolition for 10 months in 2020, it was a bummer for campers, who just piled up as no new plots were released. 30 and 50 campers deep on every small plot. It's still only starting to heal.

But it's been 44 days since auto demolition was turned back on. The timer only lasts 45.

That means that every house that has been used since 3/28/2020 but unused since 12/8/2020 is going boom tonight/tomorrow morning. Several people let multiple houses begin their demo timer. SE sent us notification emails saying the houses will be demolished the early morning on 1/22, at midnight PST, 1am pst, 2 am pst, or 3 am pst. Since auto demolition was paused for 35 weeks, and many servers see 3-14 demolitions per week, ballpark demolitions for tonight are 80-500 - less on populated servers, and more on quiet servers.

Midnight pst - 3 am will be great hours for premium relocations. If you're dreaming of a large/medium, or living beachside, tonight is your night. Be ready to sweep the ward directory right as the hour rolls over from xx:59. All three hours or you didn't really want it.

If you're a first time buyer, this is great news for you, too. Conventional wisdom says that a house is most likely to let a first time buyer grab it at hour #10 up until hour #14. That means that some of these locations will likely release tomorrow, Friday, to first time buyers in the 10am pst - 2 pm pst window. The latest window for 'primetime' will be 1pm pst until 5 pm pst (for the houses released at 3am)

Houses from the initial release will last at the latest until 3 am 1/23/2020. Relocation trains will keep things going long past that. If you want to help track the open plots or just be notified, join Sadu's Housing Alerts at https://discord.gg/mRuMsqR (NA only, volunteer driven). The discord is also a great source of housing information, with a 22 page pdf on camping info. I am not affiliated with the discord.

It's no '720 houses for new wards' but I figured I'd give y'all a shout.
