I am starting to see this alot and last moogle event this was not even an issue because pvp wasn't an option for tomes but now it is.Tho it is nice to get 5 tomes win/lose for frontlines and goes relatively faster than Syrcus Tower it poses another issue.In the community if history to repeat itself time again proves one thing, players here cannot have nice things and they find a way to exploit stuff even if it hurts others.At the moment Garo collab thing is still going and some people still doing this even tho this was warned months ago it would go in patch 5.1, but does not account new and returning players just starting this now.So the issue is the moogle event, players doing pvp just for the tomes but are afk to make it go faster.This not so fair to players on those teams trying to get the wins and seals for garo gear/mounts so it was bad move for SE to even allow irregular tomes in pvp knowing players are gonna find ways to exploit and abuse this which in turn harms players actually trying to win.I for one do not need the win or seals and I do pvp just for tomes but i'm not gonna be a ass and afk and throw the match for the sake of speeding things up knowing there are players trying to win.
For anyone that thinks otherwise you are part of the problem and one those abusing and exploiting this or you are just a troll.
