as someone who had monk as my second job. monk feels so bad. the freedom from having not only different rotations but also the positionals made it feel so unique. but now ... now you just sit at the side and eat the 1 other positional that it now has. it feels so brain dead. you no longer have to worry about a dot or positionals. just sit there hit the rotation that is forced on you and move for a mech that is incoming. rinse repeat until the fight is over. having to plan your rotation and knowing when you can do a side rotation or a rear rotation or having to do a hybrid made the job fun imo. now its just do the rotation and do the perfect balance and call it a day. everything that made the job fun and unique is now just hit the highlights and call it a day.

why can't i use one of the other skills in the rotation? why does it have to be just that ONE rotation then move to another? why can't i have freedom to choose what rotation would work in that situation? but most importantly why does monk feel so bad?
i personally would play every other job before monk this xpac. just a job that is going to get to max level and never touched again until the next xpac to get to max level again. it was a job that i looked forward to level and hop on to change things up, but now it will just gather dust and try to forget about it.
