I just got my new MMO mouse with 12 buttons on the side (the Razer Naga in my case). I noticed that my small hands had a hard time pressing more than 3 hotkeys when using my keyboard, so this seemed like a good solution.
However, I have no idea how to set up the hotbars. I saw people using 3 hotbars 4x3 and only using the mouse as hotkeys. I saw people using 2x 4x3 and 1 1x12 as hotkeys, so using both mouse and keys.
I like both ideas, but I am having trouble deciding which skills go where, and which skills are important (I am a new player, just finished The Ultima Weapon - highest level is WHM Lvl 55). It seemed to me best to have similar skills of each roll at the same spot on the hotbar. For example, using mouse button 1, 2, 3 for single target main skills, button 1, 2, 3 with alt modifier for aoe and stuff like that.
Can you show me your hotbars? And tell me the idea you have behind it? And maybe help me decide which skills are important end game (Lvl 80) and which can be "forgotten" if there are any? I like to setup my hotbars for Lvl 80 in advance for all jobs, so I don't need to chance anything in the long run and can get used to the respective buttons.
I hope someone can help me! I am starting with learning to use the mouse as a WHM, so if you only want to share 1 hotbar setup, I would prefer seeing your WHM one for ideas!
