So I'm a Sprout Tank DRK fighting the Final Boss of Stormbloods MSQ. Zenos, turned big ugly Dragon called Shinryu (?). 8 People Trial. Probably the most epic/cinematic fight I have played in this game up to this point, plus the Story aspect really hyped me up for this one. I ask fellow Paladin Tank to MT this one, to get a hang of the fight and mechanics. He willingly activates stance and we all charge into battle. Man let me tell you. Spells flying everwhere, colours of all kinds, people shouting advices in Chat. (we were 4 Newbies in total). Suddenly, the dragon flies through the air, everyone clinging on. Phenomenal Score playing. Adrenalin is pumping. It was this moment where I thought. "THIS IS BADASS!"
So the battle continues on some blocks that tend to disappear. 3 DPS die falling off.
R. I. P.
I fall off, but get revived by the wonderful. Healer. (he in turn eats a massive attack and dies sadly
Now the enemy is at 20% of his life. I look at the player list and am shocked.
Im the last survivor.
Well me and my fellow Tank.
In my mind we were lookin at each other, nodding and thinking: "Lets give it our all!"
We charge the dragon. Paladin and Dark Knight. Side by side. Light and Dark. The music swells. I cast every rotation available. He sometimes protects me withs buffs, i do the same. With no healer at our side it gets critical. Enemy is at 5% of its health. We are at 15% respectively. In an Eureka Moment, i activate (FOR THE FIRST TIME), the 3 Bars Limit Break.
A gigantic black Aura around us, mitigating damage like crazy.
Everyone in Chat is cheering us on.
"YOU CAN DO IT GUYS!!"
"Come on creeeeeeewwwwww!!"
"So clooooooseeeeee!"
"Dont give Up!!!"
"Do it! DO IT!!"
"yeeehaaaaaaaaaw"
Finally, the dragon succumbs. My hearts beating. One last look at my leading Tank brother. I imagine him lookin kind of proud at this sprout. Thumbs up, leaving silently through the portal.
