Hello Warriors of Light!
Recently, we have received feedback and have had internal discussions regarding our weekly scheduled post lineup. These are threads that you might see pinned below the Daily Questions and FAQ thread. At present, we have made two changes that are already live (that you might have already noticed):
We're also considering a major change to Monday's scheduled post, which is currently Memes and Media. As Rule 4 has been reworked to allow memes (provided they're relevant to FFXIV), the team feels like we no longer need a thread dedicated to them. They also show pretty low usage and traffic overall since the change. To clarify in more detail, here are rules 6 and 7 that are found on our rules wiki page. In long and short, rules 6 and 7 cover fan work and self-promotion. After some internal discussion, we're considering changing Monday's thread to be the primary center for self-promotion.
For the next four weeks, we will be trialing "Marketplace Monday", a weekly thread in which you can post advertisements, request, and discuss commissioned artwork, fan-created merchandise, stream links, and other content that would otherwise be disallowed under the self-promotion rule. Within this thread, artists will be allowed to freely post commissioned artwork and discuss prices for commissioned goods and services. Content creators who create media such as music, videos, and web comics may also link to their Patreon as well as any merchandise shops while advertising their content.
Marketplace Monday is a place for Final Fantasy XIV fans to share and support creative works. Posts which violate Rule 2 (don't break the Terms of Service) such as the sale of gil, accounts, housing, in-game items, etc. will be removed. The sale of bootleg merchandise and potentially stolen artwork (t-shirt bots) will also be removed. Artists may not use the thread to link to or advertise adult content such as pornographic artwork commissions or doujinshi.
Please bear in mind that advertisements for commissioned artwork and fan-created merchandise outside of Marketplace Monday remain a violation of rule 6c (no store links) and will be removed. Sharing merchandise that you purchased is still allowed outside of Marketplace Monday.
For the record, Marketplace Monday will be the sole exception to rules 6c and 7a. Standalone posts that do not conform to these rules will continue to be removed.
If you have feedback regarding these suggested changes, please tell us in the comment section below, or send us a modmail. We do value your feedback, and appreciate your support. Until next time!

- Victory Friday has been moved to both Saturday and Sunday, now being dubbed Victory Weekend. This was due to general disuse as well as freeing up Friday's slot for the below.
- F-YOU FRIDAYS has been adjusted to be a pinned post that will continue to be put up by u/FranckKnight every Friday. This was due to its constant and consistent popularity each week.
