Hello there. I'm a novice in the game and I was wondering what was the role of mentor is.
I like to discover my game. So I try first a dongeon/trial, then I learn. I don't like to look up for guides the first time.
Mentors I encounter seems pissed off most of the time when they see a novice. Why? Is the role of a mentor not to teach? Is mentor status only a trophy or is it a role that suppose to help new players? Is the little plant novice a red flag for mentors and other players that are not novice anymore? Is it too late for me to be a novice and I have no excuse? Do I have to look up for guides the first time and spoil all the fun?
I was a mentor in another MMO. But I'm really confused about this role in FF. Thank you for your time!
