Hey friends. So I've been maining MCH for the last little bit and love it enough that I think it's going to be my main going forward. However, I need some help when it comes to putting out DPS. I've been using the Stone Sky Sea dummies and the Stone Sky Sea calculator to work on my DPS numbers (I'm on PS4) and I'm just not putting out the damage I want. I'm matching my MCH damage with RDM with slightly worse equipment, which I'm finding annoying. My MCH is ilvl 492, good materia loaded in, but according to the calculator, I'm only putting out like 15k, max barely 16k or so. I think my best was 16.2.
However, I see videos on YouTube and stuff of people putting out 18k and stuff, which I know is YouTube and not what I should measure myself against, but I don't know why I'm not putting out more. I'm following this rotation, and I'm hitting it perfectly, or pretty close to it, every time but for some reason I just can't get the DPS up. My ping is good enough to get all the heat blasts and whatnot. I just don't get it.
That's a long-winded way of asking if anyone has any tips for upping my DPS? I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
