And that shouldn't be the case, right? I look at the potencies on its skills and wonder why they are lower now than they were last expansion?

Why does the Automaton queen not do AOE at all, still?

Why is Flamethrower's DoT functionally different than all other DoTs? Could it at least be made more transparent, and perhaps give a static 50 heat gauge or something when triggered?

Shouldn't it be competing with the lower end "utility" melee DPS that buff the party, not literally the weakest DPS in the game?

Like sure, it's a simple juggling rotation, but almost every job is super simple these days, and a DPS shouldn't have a standard combo and AOE weaker in potency than tanks' lmao.

I've used MCH as my ranged DPS of choice since Sephirot (ex) came out, and it's always had experienced weirdness in its place in the job balance hierarchy, but all this calls to mind is a personal slight against it now by the devs?

Unless it's like some meta joke about Edgar's Tools and his thoughts about Relm from FFVI...
