I didn't see this mentioned anywhere in the rules thread. How is this going to work?
 
Here is the lotting order we're tossing around for Homam:

Head = Blu> Thf/Drk/Drg >Pld
Body = Thf> Drk/Drg>Blu/Pld
Hands= Pld>Drk/Thf/Drg>Blu
Legs= Pld/Drk> Drg/Thf>Blu
Feet= Drg/Drk/Thf>Blu>Pld

Narisha is still being discussed at this time.
 
Legs= Pld/Drk> Blu/Thf>Drg *

Fast cast helps bluemages also :) just a suggestion
 
As for exp party or for solo?

Don't DRG sub mage jobs for healing breath 3 or something? I don't know much about dragoon either lol.
 
It depends what the alternatives for DRG are. BLU already has Prince's Slops which are almost as good as Homam really. I think the best thing DRG has might be those Barone Cosciales or something.

i'd put homam way higher than prince's slops, acc and mp on both.... but haste and fast cast on homam.

unfortunately for blu, each homam piece more or less trumps any other option for tp-gear....and for a lot of the ws/spell gear...
 
End-game gear for BLU is so limited right now, it's pretty much Homam and Nashira (in which case Nashira Legs for BLU do very little, just the little M.Acc) or Bust, with AF Body thrown in. I thought about Fast Cast for DRG solo but...I'm not sure if that constitutes putting it over BLU who would make use of it in any situation.

On the other hand, for the boots, I would think DRG -would- have priority over any other job for those. Wyvern HP not only helps their Wyvern survive but also helps on Breath damage and Healing Breath HP cured.

I'm not complaining either way, I just wasn't sure how much everything was discussed. More ideas thrown out there are never a bad thing :shades02:

Edit: Also note that I wouldn't be adverse to seeing it PLD/DRK > BLU/DRG/THF. It's not like we have that many DRG or BLU mains anyways :p
 
Still waiting on one other to get back to us on Nashira gear but it looks like this so far.

Nashira Turban - BLM/BLU/RDM > WHM/SMN

Nashira Manteel - BLU/RDM > BLM/WHM/SMN

Nashira Gages - SMN > BLU > RDM/BLM/WHM

Nashira Seraweels - RDM > BLU > SMN/WHM/BLM

Nashira Crackows - BLM > SMN > RDM > BLU > WHM

Fast Cast would also apply to a DRG would it not? Maybe some input from some DRG would help since i don't play the job.
 
Well, going with what Def said, DRG would use fast cast for /whm, and the HP+ and MP+ would also help right? We mainly look at the overall usage of the piece and how each job will use the piece and how many of the stats will increase their job's performance.

Fast Cast + is my primary reason for wanting the shorts at some point. The Haste is nice enough for general melee but the FC+ is godly for solo. I sub /rdm a lot and the fact that it stacks with the FC I already have is great.

By no means am I discounting their usefulness for BLU, but they are pretty nice for us too.

The assault sets really don't offer much for pants the last I looked. As far as ease of access goes, it pretty much comes down to Barone, Homam and Drachen +1 for DRG.

Regardless, I want the boots more, but I'd take the shorts if thats all that was there. lol
 
We will each be getting more than one piece each, with how things are looking so far.

I'd think WHM and BLM would have more use for the Seraweels than BLU would..I won't complain though :D
 
Well, you already have a couple pieces so you are mainly trying to get the last ones you dont have. May take a little more time when you try to narrow your options.
