I'm having a blast(HA!) leveling it, might replace SMN as my main mage since I like to main one of each role, but considering it seems to completely change per cap, could use some in advance assistance, any tips appreciated, but I do have a few preliminary questions.
I know these all probably seem like incredibly dumb questions, but I am really trying to dig deep and learn this class no matter how much I am suddenly standing in every AOE for that sweet spell speed.

Flare, is it only for AOE at my current level(55), and do I only use it when I barely have any MP left to cast any other Fire spell, but just enough to cast Flare in AOE.
Ley Lines, when is the best to drop it down during my rotation, when I'm setting up my DoT/Ice Spells or only when I get started on Fire spam. (Same goes for Sharpcast as well)
As I level, I am finding Transpose to become more and more useless outside of holding onto Astra/Umbral between dungeon pulls, will there be a point where I completely stop using it or should I hold onto it still.
