Why is there no leaver penalty for mahjong? I've had 3 games where someone will join and then leave before the first hand is even done (most likely because they either don't know how to play or they just join for the Kiwami achievement). It's actually awful how many games have people who leave super early and don't ever reconnect. I'm totally fine with people being new to the game and not quite understanding how to play, but not having the decency to stay in the game is very frustrating. All of these games end with the afk player feeding whoever is in the room (usually the person to their right) and dealing into some massive hand which just ends the game immediately.
It would be very nice if they either required you to be connected to the game to receive progress on the Kiwami achievement (to stop people from entering, leaving and then afking) and/or attaching a leaver penalty to abandoning after getting a spot.
