Language / Lore Questions

I'm excited for New Game+! I'm planning to replay all the previous main story content and this time record and edit my journey through the MSQ, including the dialogue by side characters and quest NPCs not included in The Unending Journey cutscene book and cutting out awkward pauses between voiced lines and emotes.

Inspired by an "Anti-Engrish" edit of an anime movie I watched, I was planning on recording the Far East's section in the appropriate language's voiced lines -- for example, Domans will speak to other Domans in Japanese but speak in English when addressing Eorzeans (sample [Stormblood Spoilers!])

My question is: Would it make sense for Ishgardians to be speaking a little bit of their old Elezen tongue even if the rest of the realm speaks Common? (sample [Heavensward Spoilers!]) I'm using French for old Elezen based on their naming conventions. This lore post containing snippets from various sources says Old Elezen is far from dead.

Also, do the Garleans speak Eorzean Common or do they have their own language? I've read through that previously linked lore post and could not find any evidence that there's a separate language in Garlemald, though their naming convention would say otherwise. Too bad there's no Italian dub to make them more "Roman".

Thank you in advance for any advice or help! ♥

TLDR: Would it make sense for Ishgard to speak French if the rest of Eorzea is English? and do Garleans speak Eorzean Common to each other or do they have a different language?
