Lack Of Gil Sinks And Non Instanced Content

Since playing since Beta the game has been missing one thing, places to dump a ton of gil (outside housing, as that isn't obtainable for everyone). I feel its causing the market to become dull.

Many other MMOs have places where after a considerable amount of time include gil sinks for you to pour gil back into the economy rather than another players pocket. Having more NPCs that sell collectable items for high levels of gil would be healthy for the game as it would incentivise making gil as currently outside housing their is not much use for it. Most mounts/minions are currency based outside of the realm of gil for a short time until players realise it can be sold and bought. This again demoralises the effort of the intended content it was implemented for and eventually over time becomes cheaper to purchase from the market board.

In terms of open world content, we have Hunts and fates. The fate content added in Shadowbringers was a great step forward, but it stopped pretty quickly. Updates to the vendors with mounts and more cosmetics per patch would keep this content fresh.
Including more rare oddities in areas outside hunts and big boss fates that once completed no reason to go back. Something the game lacks is that it has a threshold where it takes away any excitement, chance. Everything eventually is guaranteed. Having weekly zone lockouts on big boss fates for chance of personal loot such as a mount (that can't be sold). Keeping people doing the content over time. Once we hit max currency, rep we have no need to go back. Speaking with a few other players after awhile we realised this was something that the game missed. The content never has to be too difficult but it would be nice to see this - much akin to the critical engagements in Bozja. /sh lfg for weekly Il mheg fate clear.

Hopefully we see more content that keeps us to check in to zones rather than pass by them. In turn hopefully they could even implement the shared fates once maxed opens a gil vendor where you get rep reductions depending on your rank in the zone. to buy expensive zone glam and mounts/minions.

Kind Regards,
A Fellow WoL and collector.
