I have spent the past 30 min just flying around the old zones. It has brought back a lot of nostalgia, and it has fulfilled wishes I didn't even think would be possible 5 years ago. Flying across the lake in Upper La Noscea; flying under the bridge to the Sylphlands (dunno why I always wanted to do that); flying around the Pharos in Western La Noscea.
The devs have done an amazing job updating these areas so that they are satisfying to fly around in (never appreciated how cool the Sylphlands are; and holy cow the blown up area of the North Shroud). Still haven't checked out all the areas yet! My only complaint so far is that I can't fly around more in Outer La Noscea...the kobold city has always fascinated me, and I wish I could investigate more, ha.
