Hello everyone,
I'm having this issue with FFXIV. It doesn't occur in any other games or outside of the game. I'm playing FFXIV for Windows.
The issue:
On average every 10 minutes, I lose control of my keyboard. It seems to be stuck on the last input. For example, if I was running in a direction, my character will keep running that way, or if I was typing, the last letter pressed would be constantly pressed like so: aaaaaaaaaaaaa . When that problem occurs, I can't input anything through my keyboard whether it's movement or action from my bar. I can't alt-tab out of the game. The mouse, though, is still working I can click through my inventory for example.
The attempted solutions:
Unplugging and replugging solves the issue, but it takes long enough that I usually die if I was in a boss fight before I solve it.
Running as an administrator doesn't work
I tried with a different mouse
I tried to contact Square Enix support, but they directed me here.
Someone told me that clicking through their inventory solved their issue. It doesn't for me.
