Keep Playing Or Wait For 5.3

I’m new to the game. Im currently at the mid 20s MSQs. I heard that 5.3 was going to revamp the arr part of the game. Should try to beat the MSQ before then, if it is even possible, to play it as it was originally or should I just wait for 5.3?
