man oh man it was ground breaking. i started playing ffxiv about two years ago in 10th grade and it was basically my first ever mmorpg. i never story skipped but i made a few different characters ( only because i would take constant breaks ) after i finally decided to stick with one character last summer i understand why everybody speaks so highly of this game. so far heavensward would have been my favorite expansion but this story telling is in a different ball park. i swear i could go on for hours about the voice acting , character models and combat alone! i can’t wait to see what the rest of this expansion has to offer. all hail the warrior of darkness!
