I watched some videos as opposed to going in blind, but even with that it felt like the games difficulty went straight to 100. I had A LOT of fun in these raids.
However, these raids have made me notice something quite annoying. Mostly in the last one, Dun Scaith. The two last fights aren't big bosses, they're quite small in size. They both have a directional snipe move where they will fire a line/beam in the direction they're facing. I got killed by this twice, once for each of the bosses and it felt a bit unfair? Unfair might be the wrong word, but basically with the chaos of 24 players, ability special effects and the relatively small models of the bosses, I couldn't see which direction they were facing at all. Pretty much everything else felt fair, I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips on keeping track of small bosses in 24 player chaos?
I also have to say that the last raid looks so hard to heal, I'm glad I wasn't healing it. Dun Scaith is the first raid I've done out of the ARR and Heavensward raids that got quite heated in the chat, I felt bad for some of the new/sprout healers who got raged at for not cleansing Doom. To be fair I think everything that has casted Doom on players up to then it has been uncleansable except in that dungeon where you have to cleanse yourself on the plates (Qarn?) So it's probably not ingrained in them to cleanse it. Props to anyone healing this raid though I think it would stress me out!
