Basically the title. Had a LVL30 Hyur archer, but upon jumping into that I found myself overwhelmed, and after some advice from some of the fine adventurers here in this community, I made a brand new character (also to cash in on the Road to 70 boost). I went with a Lalafell Thaumaturge (I'm usually not much a of a "magic" guy, but I thought I'd try something new) and I'm already at lvl 25 because I am LOVING it! I can't wait to get my Black Mage job going, and ultimately want to try and make my way into Astrologian later on (I also never really do healing, so I want to give that a try too!). But the love of my character and class is just the start. The game world is absolutely gorgeous; I love the distinct feel each area has. It really gives you a feel of the varying cultures and locales. What really put me over the top was when I was in Gridania and you could hear the pitter-patter of the rain on the roof tops of the building I was in. I was absolutely blown away by that level of detailed sound design. Which brings me to the music: holy moly is it ever good. That opening "Answers" song/cutscene was utterly fantastic, and by the end of it I was so excited to start making my way in Eorzea. I sincerly cannot wait to see where the story goes and to explore the world of Eorzea to the fullest.
TL;DR: I am freaking in love with the game and the world, and cannot wait to get further into the story and see the endgame.
