Job Hopes For Next Expansion?

As with every expansion, jobs undergo drastic changes.

With how much Shb's jobs were decimated, excessively homogenised and dumbed down for accessibility, people are looking to 6.0 with a mixture of excitement and worry.

So what are your job hopes?


Here's some of mine

All jobs: shields stack
-role actions turned into job specific variations (eg Tank stun becomes Low blow, Brutal swing, shield swipe and new thing for gnb)
-Focus on job identity with higher skill ceilings, undoing homogenisation
-Healers back to combat medics
-tanks put more thought into enmity
-Buff potencies are strong and long enough no parser needed to see them

Dragoon: Gets Qol extension on raiden thrust, fang/claw and wheel thrust
-Aoe refreshes disembowel
-level 56 and 64 trait that extends chaos thrust dot. (So that it no longer drifts pre 64)
-Stardiver is merged with dragonfire and a new capstone added. Animation lock reduced
-ring of thorns back

Dark knight: Gets branching combos again and good dark arts
-Ld and Living shadow fixed
-better sustain
-scourge returned
-Debuffs added
-playing like hw but with sb and shb Qol
-quietus buff
-no inner release clone

Astro: seals and play deleted
-time magic restored
-gravity back to X+%less for all others
-stella back as a second damage button
-disable as an interrupt
-Cards restored to SB's with current minor arcana, an anti fishing mechanism and change to spire with maybe balance as well. (So parsers can get their big dps numbers and everyone else can have their variety back)
-sects combined into switch stance
-Divination now grants dps buff to next card a player receives
-neutral sect replaced with almagest, an aoe dot
-sleeve draw gives next card all 3 royal road effects
-undraw deleted
-benefic upgrades to benefic 2, enhanced benefic procs off of draw

Whm: Elements returned
-water 1,2,3,4 etc added as an instant gcd damage button that procs off of stone (to provide weaving windows)
-Quake, Flood and Tornado added
-cure 1 and medica upgrade to cure 2 and medica 2
-Freecure attached to stone
-Plenary indulgence now grants Bravery and Faith and upgrades aero/stone/water to tornado/quake/flood for the duration
-Fluid aura becomes a knockback, 20s bind and interrupt
-Divine seal returned and upgrades to temperance at level 80
-Holy returned to its original ARR potency and higher mp cost.
-New lily button that grants an aoe shield
-benediction gets less animation lock

Bard: gets songs returned
-blunt arrow, flaming arrow and wide volley returned
-Wide volley now does the dots to everything in its aoe.

I'd say more but I lack knowledge of bard past 58

Sch: eos and selene returned to SB state
-Dots, bane, shadowflare all return
-Dissipation no longer kills fairy, seraph fixed and does something else.
-Gets a new button that activates a regen aura at 76 (scholars were in the thick of it next to their marauder allies)
-Carbuncle and feo ul glamours
