Jazmin

Hey guys. I just wanted to let you know that Jazmin has requested to join our Limbus shell. Before I discuss Jazmin in particular, I want to remind everyone that the group was originally formed as an LS-only affair, and that the intention was to keep all of our dorps within the shell, thus limiting the amount of "revolving door" scenarios with people joining, getting their gear, and bouncing.

This policy was never really contested previously, mainly because we had more than enough members to consistently clear two zones per run, and handled the bosses with ease. In fact, I have previously denied several other requests to join the group from outside the shell. Recently, however, attendance has dropped due to various circumstances.

As such, I'd like to revisit the issue and discuss the pros/cons of admitting non-Ultima players to our Limbus group. Only once we have that out of the way, I'd like to discuss admitting Jazmin specifically to the group. Let's start by seeing who is for and against outside members coming to Limbus.

I think we should be open to the idea. Don't think we should be in a rush to let people in to the shell, because I think that we are doing well. But if we want to try to do multiple runs more often and of course have more people for ultima and omega then we should probably have a few more members.

Just to clarify so as to avoid knee-jerk reactions either way: We'd be talking about at most bringing in about three more members. I'm looking to have a reliable group of 15 or so people at each run. We would also be extremely selective about who we let join, to make sure we only get experienced players who are going to have reliable attendance and no drop drama.

Since the point of the group is to get coins and gears, a more solid group would be nice.

I am more of the side of saying no to outside members. Recruitment is currenctly open for ultima to have more members. Its pretty save to say that getting in more members within ultima would make our limbus runs have more members also. Think we were trying to get about 10 more people into ultima so that we can take HNMs. (Not to mention have enough people to do t2 sea gods when it is set as the event.) Think once we get those people we won't see as much of an issue with our limbus numbers. I would keep this thread open but at the moment would keep it on hold and see what happens when new people filter into the shell.

Just my 2 Gil.

That's true, we are currently in the process of recruiting into the shell. One thing I really want to avoid is having too many people coming to Limbus. Nobody likes 8 people lotting a single item or getting 2 coins each per run.
