So... World of Warcraft has had items for a long time that give cosmetic buffs, items that you can use that temporarily change how you look, or give you a glow effect, or other similar things.
Now, I saw a post here about a Tholl Glamour, which is nice and all, but what if if we had a special type of glamour prism that you used that just makes you look like a Tholl for 30 minutes or what-not, and the item is fairly cheap to get?
But rather than post that in there, I figured we could go a bit further, we could have items that do other similar things with other similar characters and races. I really like my Miqo'te, but yet sometimes I wonder what it would be like to be another race for a short time and/or if their animations and aesthetics would be pleasing without having to go roll and level up a whole 'nuther character.
There's also items in WoW that let you temporarily take on the appearance of non-playable races/creatures as well, wouldn't it be cool to temporarily look like an Amal'jaa or an Ixal (these would make great beast tribe rewards) or something?
Also, temporary weapon glows and the like would be fun too.
