Item Level Sync in Older Content

Hi, I've played FFXIV for about 3.5 years now and I have noticed a pattern during my playing this game that I think is detrimental to the experience new players receive. For old duties in prior expansions, the max ilvl players are synced to is the highest ilvl for the end of that particular expansion. While this changes nothing for the content that came out in the x.4 and x.5 patches of any particular expansion, the content that came out earlier in the x.0-x.4 patches of an expansion are significantly reduced in difficulty to the point where bosses die so fast that they cannot even do all of their mechanics. I think this causes new players to miss out on a lot when they do these duties for the first time. For example, in Aglaia in particular the bosses die so fast that they sometimes don't even get to do/show off their main mechanics, the last boss especially. I think that the max ilvl sync for a duty should be equivalent to the maximum ilvl that was possible in the patch in which it came out. So for aglaia, that would be ilvl 600 instead of ilvl 660. I think setting the ilvl sync for the maximum ilvl possible by the end of the EW expansion is a big mistake here for the reasons I already mentioned. While I used that alliance raid as an example, I think many other duties suffer from the same thing, including trials and normal raids. Experiencing this content for the first time is something new players cannot ever get back, and they are missing so much the way things are right now where damage dealt and received is SIGNIFICANTLY different from when the content released. It causes these duties to become less exciting and memorable. I care very much about the new player experience and repeat experience. Please consider my proposed change of keeping the ilvl sync to the maximum ilvl that was possible in the patch when the particular duty came out.

Thank you for the great game and all the work you do on it.
