- "Writ of Beatification" gives the title “Saint of the Firmament”.
- "Writ of Commendation" gives the title "Beatus/Beata of the Firmament"
A writ = an order or mandatory process in writing issued in the name of the sovereign or of a court or judicial officer commanding the person to whom it is directed to perform an act specified therein.
A Writ of Beatification is given to a person who is directed to perform "Beatification" by this definition.
Beatification = "(in the Roman Catholic Church) declaration by the Pope that a dead person is in a state of bliss, constituting a first step toward canonization and permitting public veneration."
Beatus = a man or boy who has been beatified.
Thus it would make sense for the "Writ of Beatification" be given to someone who then obtains the title of "Beatus of the Firmament" because they have now been beatified.
Now to cover the other writ and title, Writ of Commendation is just a broad term which could apply to the Saint of the Firmament title if you just decided to switch them to make sense with the above change.
However, a better name which I already mentioned previously would be "Canonization".
Beatification is the FIRST STEP towards Canonization, so it makes sense to be given that title first for receiving Top 100. Following that you should receive the better title of Saint for hitting Top 12 and the item given should match that requirement.
Canonization = (in the Roman Catholic Church) the official admission of a dead person into sainthood.
This clearly references becoming a Saint, and would match the title exactly along with covering the other item name.
- Writ of Beatification = Beatus/Beata of the Firmament
- Writ of Commendation / Canonization = Saint of the Firmament
My suggestion would be to either A) Switch which Writ item is given for the title and call it a day. Or B) Switch the Beatification item, and rename the Commendation item to "Canonization".
Please look forward to it.
