What’s everyone’s consensus on on those who already have Saint of the Firmament titles (crafter’s especially) but are still fighting and holding top 12 again? Gatherers, I cannot fault.. the Gil is good... But crafters.. what is their drive to do this again? Is it to make the title they spray have more exclusive? Do they just enjoy the “experience” or the thrill of the chase without really considering those that are fighting for the title who don’t yet have it?
My thought is that they’re just as entitled to participate as anyone .. but is it kinda a jerk move? What could SE have done differently?
I spent time with the current top LTWer tonight at her house as we both crafted and traded tips and just joked around whilst filling our face holes with chili crab.. I also noticed they already had their Saint of the Firmament title and, yes, I’m probably late to the game but that’s when it hit me... that people could be blocked from getting by players that already have it.
I didn’t ask them why they’re going for it.. don’t want to spoil the good time we had with putting but they did mention they got 2nd place last season and they weren’t going to let that happen again.. so is it simply a matter of pride, others trying to get it be damned?
Do you have it? Have you participated in the competition and placed more than once? Looking forward to hearing everyone’s thoughts.
