Hi there everybody, so I recently learned that come January, I will be moving to Japan! It's exciting, and I'm looking forward to starting anew over there, however, I would still very much like to play FFXIV with my NA friends. I'd never gave a thought that there may be an issue connecting to the servers until just recently, and now I'm worried. I've heard there could be latency and packet loss issues... if it helps any, I'm not moving out to the Japanese countryside, I'm going to be in Kyoto; so my connection should be fine, in theory. If not, would a VPN help? Can the game even be played using a VPN? Thanks.
