Last night I wanted to buy a ring so I took advantage of the World Visit system. The ring in question cost 67K on my server. On others it cost 336K (yes, really, and some had sold in the past few days). 60K which is the one I bought. 97K, 91k and 89K. I'm fairly rich and intend to stay that way and one of the ways to stay that way is to not buy things that are overpriced.
If you don't know what World Visit is, then you can access it from any of the three main city aeths (Limsa, Gridania and Ul'dah).
