This community is great. I just recently started tanking with a PLD (I main BLM), and I'm still pretty clueless, but I do the duty roulette for leveling every day anyway, and let me tell you. As soon as I type that I'm still new to tanking into the chat, I get tips the entire way. "Try using Arm's Reach in big mobs!" "Add in some damage reduction!" "You want to turn the boss left, not right!" Add to that all of the player commendations because I'm receptive to listening to folks give me help (it boggles my mind that some people can be complete dicks about this), and it turns out to be an all-around great experience for me, even if I'm still worried about doing everything incorrectly. Tank anxiety is a real thing, but I'm able to get over it every day because of the community being so kind and helpful. I honestly have yet to encounter a party that hasn't been chill with me taking my time and generally bumbling my way through a dungeon. Thanks, guys.
