When I first started playing FFXIV in 1.0 my computer was not strong enough to handle it. I was eventually able to upgrade my graphics card near the end of patch 1.23b so I finally got to see it closer to how the dev team originally envisioned it, but most of my early screenshots look like they were made with a potato.

Thankfully, thanks to flying, I was finally able to get back to the original angle I took that shot from. Central Thanalan has changed a lot since the Calamity, but U'ldah itself hasn't changed since the old days.
