Most of the time, we just stand around while other people deal with stuff... I cant count how often I screamed at my character to do something, anything, to help out...
I get its hard, with all the different jobs, some range, some Melee, so they cant use a single animation for all (Other than when it gets to fist-fights), but I still wish they would do something...
One option I can maybe imagine as a practical solution would be just to have our character get a close up, draw its weapon and the just dash out of the frame, quick black screen with a flash of light, followed by a sound effect based on the current job (basically just play the sound effect of the first combo attack) and then when we get back, something has happened that suggests our Character actually did something...
I dont know, I just feel kind of useless in Cutscenes...
